INLOW, PAMELA JEAN
Age 69, of Albuquerque, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011. Although her death was sudden and unexpected, we are grateful that the Lord took her peacefully in her sleep. Pamela was born Dec. 2, 1941, in South Bend, IN. She was blessed from an early age to know that she wanted to become a nurse. After graduating from Holy Cross Nursing School, she moved to Albuquerque and spent more than 35 years devoted to and fulfilled by her profession until her retirement in 2004 from Kaseman Presbyterian Hospital. She was a loving mother and a proud and delighted grandmother. She was passionate about her beautiful garden, and her home was always the center of large family gatherings. She loved musicals, games and crossword puzzles and was always in attendance at her grandchildren's sporting events, concerts, recitals and school functions. She was a talented artist and craftsperson and an avid Notre Dame fan. In her retirement, Pamela was also fortunate to have been able to travel to some wonderful places - her favorites were Ireland, France, Italy and Russia. Pamela was truly kind-hearted, loving and generous -- and her sparkling smile will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Eleanor Dettor. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Bathrick and husband, Gregory of Frisco, TX and Jennifer Russell and husband, Michael of Albuquerque; by her four grandchildren: Ian, Sasha, Cameron and Tess; brothers and sisters, Judith and Carem Abood, Paul Barry and Breta Dettor, Micheal Dettor, Don and Maryann Dettor, and Diane and Ed Enos; and many nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Arrangements are being handled by French Mortuary and St. Bernadette's Shrine in Albuquerque. A Rosary will be held at The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Road NE at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2011 and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bernadette's at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2011 with interment and reception following.
