: Patricia Ann (Gordon) McCullen, 75, of Millbury died unexpectedly Friday, June 24, 2011 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Worcester. Her husband Francis A. McCullen passed away in May 2010. She is survived by her four children: Frank McCullen and wife Norma of Douglas, Laurie Hall and husband John of Douglas, Daniel McCullen and wife Susan of Sutton, and Michael McCullen of Millbury. She will be greatly missed by her seven grandchildren: Mandy, Rachel, Lindsey, Kimberly, Nicole, Joshua, and Zachary and three great grandchildren: Laila, Elias, and Morgan. Patricia also leaves several nieces, nephews, and close friends Clare, Margie, Rose, and Vivian. Patricia was predeceased by her four sisters Mary Slivka, Estelle Modig, Audrey Hoyt, June Gordon and brother, Newell "Buddy" Gordon. She was born in Millbury on Gordon's Corner on September 19, 1935, the daughter of Elizabeth Happakoski/Jacobson and Newell A. Gordon. Patricia's kind and caring manner was known by all, including families she met as a private and Millbury District Nursing home health care provider. Patricia shared her fun loving spirit and talents so passionately with others. Her artistic talent was found in her paintings, arts and crafts, sewing, and knitting. Her love for baking (esp. Swedish coffee bread), cooking, and gardening are precious memories for all. Patricia enjoyed Red Hat Society days, beach trips, swim groups, and close contact with family and friends on her computer. Patricia's greatest joy in life was her grandchildren, attending their sporting events, activities, and time in her home. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 5 at 11:00 AM., at Our Lady of Lourdes 1290 Grafton Street, Worcester. All attending the Funeral Mass are politely requested to go directly to the church. She will then be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery in Grafton. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of THE RONEY FUNERAL HOME in North Grafton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to MA Down Syndrome Congress, PO Box 866, Melrose, MA 02176.
