Today we join to celebrate the life of Patricia "Pat" A. (nee Morris) McNeil. Pat was born May 4, 1957, in New York City to Lena Richards and John Caddell.She attended Paterson PS #12 and graduated from Eastside High School in 1975. She later attended the Bergen Community College and ECPI Computer Institute.Throughout her years Pat had been employed by Bamberger's/Macys, Prudential Life Insurance Company, the Arcola Bus Company and the United States Post Office in Wayne, NJ.She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Sinclair.Pat leaves to mourn three children: Lena McNeil, Erika McNeil and Patrick McNeil all of Paterson, NJ; former husband, Tommie McNeil; one step-daughter, TaQuaila McClendon; her parents, Lena Richards and John Caldwell both of Paterson; one brother, Eric Richards (Melissa) of Maryland; three grandchildren, Troy Staton, Jahkeem Rutter, Dashawn Watkins; one niece, Dominique Richards and a host of other relatives, friends and neighbors.Pat resided in the Brook Sloate Terrace Development for approximately five years. She last resided in the Riverside Terrace Development for more than twenty years and established many great relationships. One very special relationship was that of her god sister and longtime friend, Barbara Jones. Pat's affirmation that she lived by was "You must respect and trust yourself enough to know that no matter what you do, you are still worthy of love and support".
