The Lord called Patricia "Pat" Ann Ball on May 18, 2010. She was born in Norfolk, VA on April 11, 1942 and was a lifelong resident of Deep Creek. She married Ben D. Ball on June 20, 1959. Pat graduated from Deep Creek High School in 1960 and was active on the reunion committee. She was a charter member of Temple Baptist Church in Brentwood. She was predeceased by her husband, Ben (Buddy) D. Ball; her mother, Idella Marie Lewis Johnson; and father, Aldrous Parkton Johnson; and her two brothers, James Carl Lewis, Jr. and Charles Ferrell Lewis. She is survived by her two sons, John Mark Ball and his wife Paula of Suffolk, VA and Benjamin David Ball and his wife Merrilee of Chesapeake, VA; two daughters, Anita Ball of Chesapeake, VA and Connie Stewart and her husband Edard of Chesapeake, VA. She is also survived by her two sisters, Florence Willadean Rhodes and Odessa Dyson Ramsey; her brother, Rev. Billy Ray Lewis and his wife Shirley; grandchildren, Katherine Ball, JoAnna Ball, Rachael Ball and Kristina Ball, Kelly Demetris, Stacy Bernier, Josh Stewart, Kristen Redditt, David Redditt, Kacee Stewart; great grandchildren, Halie, Kaitlyn, Johnny, Kody, and Peyton; and a host of family and neighbors. The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Snehal Damle, Dr. Thomas Harrington, and the Bon Secours hospice workers. The family also wishes to extend very heartfelt thanks to Odessa Ramsey who unselfishly spent many weeks comforting and caring for Pat, along with other loving & Caring family members who helped make Pat's last days more comfortable.
