Patricia Ann "Patty" McCullough, 50, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 6:48 a.m. on Friday, August 24, 2012 at St. Mary's Health Center in Clayton, Missouri. She was born November 3, 1961 in Granite City, the daughter of Merl and Delores (Portell) McCullough of Granite City. She had worked for CPI Corporation in St. Louis as a photo processing technician. Patty will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and many friends. She loved her days of playing softball, swimming and float trips with friends and had a special love of dogs. In addition to her beloved parents, she is survived by four brothers, Matthew McCullough of Granite City, Kevin McCullough of Palm Springs, California; Bryan McCullough of Houston, Texas and Chris (Della) McCullough of Granite City; niece and nephews, Matt, Michael and Sophia; many special close friends and extended family. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Michael and grandparents, Clarence and Bertha McCullough and Vincent and Victoria Portell. In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Sunday, August 26, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 27, 2012 with Father Chris Comerford officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the family and may be accepted at the funeral home.
