Miss Patricia Ann Turner, 39, died Friday afternoon (April 16, 2010) at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL following a long illness. She was a native of Bacon County but had lived most of her life in Waycross. She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Elaine Taylor Black; and a sister, Janet Marie Turner. She was a member of Hosanna Church and a 1992 graduate of Ware County High School. Survivors include her parents, Billy and Lucy Streat Turner of Waycross; three brothers, William Turner, III of Waycross, Bradley Black and Darrin Gordon both of Douglas; three sisters, Pearlie Watkins (husband Britt), Jenny Turner, April Black all of Waycross; three nieces, Chelsea Watkins and Dana Black both of Waycross; Candice Turner of South Carolina; two great nieces; one great nephew; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday (April 20, 2010) at Hosanna Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Burial will be in Meeks Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Music Funeral Home Monday night from 6 until 8. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.musicfuneralhome.com.
