Patricia (Hormel) Wolfe, age 72 of Middletown, Ohio died January 7, 2011 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties, with her loving family around her. Patty was born January 9. 1938 to Frank and Ruth (Charlton) Hormel in Franklin, Ohio. She was married to Orvel K. Wolfe, celebrating 37 years of marriage before his passing in 1990. She enjoyed working at Garden Manor Retirement Home for 12 years and made many friends during that time. Every morning loved to have a cup of coffee while reading the Middletown Journal. She deeply loved her family and was always there when they needed her. She is sincerely loved and will be greatly missed. Patty is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ruth Hormel; her husband, Orvel K. Wolfe; and one sister, Margaret Jean Lamb. Patty leaves behind 8 children; Cathy (Jim) Hall, Carolyn (Richard) Carter, Debbie (Luckie) Mann, Wayne Wolfe, Jerry (Rhonda) Wolfe, Barry Wolfe, Justin (June) Wolfe, and Kenny Wolfe; 19 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 7 brothers and sisters; Emily Gentry, Larry Hormel, Robert Hormel, Paul Hormel, Sharon Thorpe, Bertha Guthry, and Randy Hormel; as well as a cousin and best friend; Peggy Wolfe. A special thank you goes to the nurses and staff of the third floor ICU of Atrium Center for taking such wonderful care of Patty during her stay. Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 11, 2010 at 12;00 pm Anderson Funeral Home (1357 E. 2nd Street, Franklin, Ohio 45005) Visitation will be from 9 until time of service at the funeral home.
