Patricia Davis, 89, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, April 07, 2012 at a local hospital. Pat was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Harry C. and Marion (McFadden) Ervin.

Stationed in Pocatello, Idaho, Pat served in the WAVES during WWII from 1943-1945. She was a graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint and was a first grade teacher for Flint Community Schools in Michigan where she lived from 1961 to 1981 when she and her husband moved to Hot Springs Village. Her life passions included listening to and singing music, sewing, reading, cooking and collecting recipes. She was an avid fisherman and was also a good athlete who enjoyed both tennis and swimming. Pat had an adventurous spirit and while living in Germany from 1958-1961, she, Erv, and their four children camped and explored all over Europe. A longtime member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, people knew her to be very friendly and ready with a smile for everyone she met.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 65 years, Erwin L. Davis, 1 son: Erwin "Larry" Davis and wife Joann of Iola, WI; 3 daughters: Judith Abruzzo of Troy, OH; Margaret "Peggy" Millard and husband Toby of Otisville, MI; Nancy Walters and husband Dennis of Clarkston, MI; 1 brother: Harry Ervin and wife Nancy of Marco Island, FL; 1 sister: Mary Quick and husband Peter of Tucson, AZ; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, and 1 sister, Anne Ervin.
