A memorial service for Patricia Jean Dunno, 56, will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2012, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service from 3 until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dunno died Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Born in Lafayette, Ind, she was a daughter of the late Richard Burget and Marceline "Marcie" Erb.
Patty enjoyed spending time with her two boys, Eric and Kyle, whom she called "The joys of her life!" and her granddaughter, Kylie. She loved reading suspense novels, traveling to the beach and Indiana and cooking for her family and friends. She graduated from West Central High School in Francesville, Indiana, and worked for the City of Aiken and in real estate for five years each. The most important job in her life was being a good mother and homemaker for her family. Patty was a breast cancer survivor of ten years and cherished spending time with her family. She was of the Christian faith.
Surviving are her sons, Kyle David Dunno (Kristen) of Anderson; Eric William Dunno of Columbia; granddaughter, Kylie Marie Dunno of Anderson; husband of 29 years, Jerry Lee Dunno; sisters, Debra Blackwood (Jay) of Colorado, Mary Jane Royce (Mike) of Indiana ; stepbrother Darrel Erb of Indiana, and stepsister Darleen Erb (Ryan) of Indiana. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her stepfather, Neil Erb.
