Patricia M. "P. Marie" Cunningham, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus, and her beloved husband Nelson on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Canterbury Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Fort Wayne. She was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Patricia was an Artist and owner of "Atelier P. Marie" retiring in 1999. She was a member of and Past President of the Philharmonic Chorus; Veteran Actress and Technician with the Civic Theatre; Retired Art Teacher; Graduated from South Side High School, class of 1982, at the age of 60. She loved books, music, the Arts, the movies. Her love of movies began when she was a ticket taker and usherette at a movie house in NYC. Surviving are her Sons, Bruce J. (Carol) Cunningham of Baltimore, MD and William R. (Cheryl) Cunningham of Fort Wayne; daughters, Helen Cunningham of Watertown, SD, Dale Ann (Jim) Becher of Fort Wayne and Mary Ann Cunningham of Fort Wayne. Pat was blessed with many grandchildren great grandchildren and great great grandchildren . She was preceded in death by husband, Nelson E. Cunningham, father, John Oliver, mother, Helene Oliver, brothers, William and Warren and Weagant, and sister, Mary D'Ambrosio. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 AM, November 23, 2011 at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Fr. Mark Gurtner officiating. Calling is Tuesday, November 22, 2011 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm- D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake with a .Vigil at 4:30 PM.
