Patricia Pascual Madere was called by her heavenly Father to be with Him on Saturday, September 1, 2012 from complications of breast cancer. She was a native of New Orleans and lived in Chalmette for many years before relocating to Laplace post Katrina. She was 73 years old. She was the beloved wife of 48 years to the late Roy A. Madere Sr. Loving mother of Deanna M. Boudreaux (wife of Kevin) and Roy A. Madere Jr. (husband of Regina). Proud and devoted Gammy to Kerri Harris, Kaycee Boudreaux, Kristian Madere and Cameron Boudreaux. Great grandmother to Logan, Rylan, Blake, Emmi and Lyla. She was preceded in death by siblings Matias, Frances, Celia and Owen. She is survived by brothers Rumio, Joe, Donald and Douglas; and sisters Juanita and Marie, along with numerous in-laws, nieces, cousins and dear friends.
Patricia was a kind and loving person that loved to share her extraordinary cooking talent and was especially proud of her family.
Services will be private. Per her wishes, we ask that in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation, in memory of Patricia Madere, to the National Breast Cancer Foundation at www.nationalbreastcancer.org.
