HALIFAX- Patricia T. Campbell, age 78, of 1186 Tourist Park Road, died suddenly at home Tuesday, May 24, 2011. She was born on September 12, 1932 in Corry, PA, the eleventh child of Henry F. and Jeannette Taylor Dahlstrand. She was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School, class of 1950. Patty worked as an underwriter for Erie Insurance Exchange, was former co-publisher of The Erie Press, was a legal secretary for the PA Dept. of Welfare and a transcriptionist for Stauffer Psychological Services in Millersburg. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Fisherville and the church's Ladies Aid Society, American Business Women's Association, Red Hat Society, Golden Girls Investment Club, and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Patty enjoyed her home in the country, traveling with her husband, spending time with her family and friends, and her dog, "Sir Geoffrey". She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and constant companion of her husband. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by seven sisters, Anna Louise Pfeffer, Betty Jane Bertram, Phyllis Sutto, Florence Woodworth, Marjorie Resta, Dorothy Freeburg, and Jeannette LaKari; two brothers, John H Dahlstrand and David "Bud" Dahlstrand. Patty is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, William Campbell, five children, Ginny (Greg) Supranowitz of Penfield, NY, Bill (Linda) Campbell of Harrisburg, Cindy (Sherwood) Stauffer of Halifax, David (Debbie) Campbell of Latrobe, and Carrie (Rick) Ansel of Etters; 20 grandchildren, Katie (Jim) Goldberg, Chris (Jillian) Supranowitz, Tim Supranowitz, Ben (Jackie) Campbell, Andy (Rebekah) Campbell, Laura (Chris) Ruhl, Emily (Brian) Mowery, Brian, Anna, Karen, Julia, Liam, and Brady Campbell; Trisha, Amy, and Lisa Malehorn; Nate and Allison Campbell; and Ryan and Eric Edwards, seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Virginia Chiarizio of Lakewood, NY, Joanne Dahlstrand of Erie, and Jacqueline (Bruce) Barber of Loveland CO, one brother, Charles E Dahlstrand of Harrisburg, one sister-in-law, Anne Dahlstrand-Daniel of Erie. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call on Friday May 27 from 6-8 pm at Messiah Lutheran Church, 3 Church St, Halifax (Fisherville) and again on Saturday May 28 from 9-11 am; services will begin at 11 am on Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, 3 Church St, Halifax, PA 17032. There will also be a memorial service at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 950 W 7 St, Erie, June 4 at 2 pm with the Rev.
