Obituary for Patsy Gainsforth Hall
(1938 – 2011)

Patsy Hall, beloved mother, Meme, sister and friend, age 72, died on April 11, 2011 in Bountiful, Utah. She was born on August 9, 1938 in Jamestown, North Dakota to Leroy and Adele Gainsforth. She married Burke Hall on September 8, 1961. Retired after 30 years of nursing at the VA Medical Center in Salt Lake, she was an avid reader, loved to travel and was always ready for a good game of pinochle. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. She is survived by her daughter Brynn Kimberly Bailey, son-in-law, Dave Bailey, two beautiful grandchildren, Trevor and Emily, her sister, Penny (Eldon) Cresop, her brothers, Dick (Donna) Gainsforth, Jerry (Karen) Gainsforth, and Denny (Mary) Gainsforth. She was preceded in death by her husband Burke, her parents and Burke’s parents, Leroy and Mary Hall. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 15 at 2:00 at Mt. View Memorial Mortuary and Cemetery, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights. Family will meet with friends at the mortuary on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 and from 1:00 to 2:00 on Friday.
