Graveside services for Patsy Wallace, 75, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2013, at Bright Star Cemetery north of Wills Point with Bro. Dick Patterson officiating. She passed away Thursday morning, August 1, 2013, in Wills Point. Patsy was born November 18, 1937, in Wills Point, Texas, the daughter of Mel Rose Alford and Ora Belle Lassie Alford. She was raised in Wills Point where she attended public school. On August 6, 1955, she married David Wallace. Patsy was employed by Malouf Manufacturing Company in Wills Point for several years and retired in 2003 from Southland Athletic Wear in Terrell, where she was a seamstress. She enjoyed sewing, reading, crocheting and playing games on her tablet. Patsy attended Stonepoint Church in Wills Point. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Wallace, Sr. on May 12, 2000 and a sister, Barbara Ann Alford. Patsy is survived by her son, David Houston Wallace, Jr. & wife, Beverly, of Buchanan, Tennessee; three daughters, Lorie McKnight & husband, James, of Wills Point, Patsy Lynn Wofford, of Tyler and Kathy McKeown & husband, Kenneth, of Forney; two brothers, Jerry Alford & wife, Deann, of Duncanville and Billy Mel Alford, Jr., of Dallas; fourteen grandchildren, Craig Wallace, Lisa Raines, Karla Willis, Laura Anderson, Edward Justice, Sunshine Holmes, Jeffrey Justice, Lucas Lane, Alexis Lane, Jennifer McKeown, Aaron McKeown, David Houston Wallace, III, Kyle Wallace and Justin McKeown and nineteen great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday morning one hour prior to service.
