Pattilyn Brazier July 3, 1954 ~ January 14, 2011 Pattilyn Brazier, 56, of Bryan and a former resident of Somerville, passed away Friday, January 14, 2011 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born July 3, 1954 to Patsy Ruth Brazier and lived her childhood in Somerville, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Somerville. As an adult, she moved to Bryan, Texas. She was employed by the Texas Agricultural Extension Service and the Texas A&M University System as an accounting assistant where she made many lifelong friends. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bryan. Patti was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Patsy Ruth Brazier, her grandparents, Robert and Pansy Houston, and her great-grandparents, Big Mama and Pop Farris. She is survived by her heart-children, Jack “Stamps” Campbell; Rebecca Janac Kroencke; Andrew Charles Terry; as well as her heart-sister, Linda Terry; her heart-mother, Kathryn Like Hughes and her daughter, Patsy Kay Like. She leaves behind her precious baby dogs, Kelsy, Bobby and Katie. As her heart-son, Stamps said, “She was a ray of sunshine in this crazy world.” Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville is in charge of arrangements.
