Col. Paul Degenhardt (Ret. USAF) of Gladstone, MO, passed away December 10, 2011 with his wife of thirty-two years Paula and his canine companion Cooper by his side. Paul was born August 25, 1926 in Kansas City, KS. He was a graduate of Kansas State University and a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. His many accomplishments and involvements include Mayor of the City of Gladstone and past president of First Bank of Missouri.
Funeral service will be 2:00pm Thursday December 15, 2011, at White Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday December 14, 2011 at the Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife Paula (Lucas) Degenhardt of the home; sons Paul Degenhardt III, Kurt Degenhardt (Shannon), Mark Degenhardt and J. Paul Beller; daughters Christi Kendrick (Mason), Karen Meyer (Gilbert) and "our other daughter" Janet Cline; grandchildren, Alex, Jeff, Austin, Christopher, Courtney, and Nicholas Degenhardt and Taylor and Kyle Kendrick and one great granddaughter Arianna Beller. Donations may be made to the Northland Christmas Store.
