Paul E. Anderson, Sr., 63, of Ft. Wayne and formerly of Trumbull, CT, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 9, 2011 in Anderson, IN. Born in Connecticut, Paul worked for Metro-North Railroad for 30 years, retiring in 1992. He recently had moved to Ft. Wayne. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Trumbull, CT; a lifelong member of Trumbull Center Volunteer Fire Company #1 and was an avid hunter belonging to the Fugowi Tribe. Family was the most important part of his life. He was a devoted son, husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was a joyous person always laughing and having fun with his family and friends. Surviving is his loving wife of 42 years, Abby Anderson originally from Trumbull, CT now residing in Fort Wayne, IN. Daughter, Christine Fiengo and her husband William of Fort Wayne, IN. Son, Paul E. Anderson Jr. and his wife Evelyn of Bridgeport, CT. Paul absolutely adored his three grandchildren, Andrew Fiengo, Carl Anderson, and Natasha Anderson. Paul is preceded in death by his parents Carl E. and Agnes Anderson. A Memorial Service will be 3 pm Saturday, December 17, 2011 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave with a gathering starting at 1 pm.
