Paul F. Murphy, 77, of Naples, Florida passed away suddenly on July 10, 2012.  He lived life to the fullest and spent his last day playing 18 holes of golf with his friends from the Island Walk golf league.  He had been a resident of Naples for the last 10 years, coming from New Hampshire and Boston.  After his years in the Air Force, he worked for the FAA as a systems engineer and graduated from Rivier College.  Paul was a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church in Naples, where he had served as an usher at the 9:00AM Mass. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Agnes, The Men's Club of St. John the Evangelist Church and the 49th Fighter Squadron Association.. Paul participated in the Collier Harvest and volunteered with Collier Voting. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 43 years, Jeanne Murphy; daughter Kristen L. Heeres and her husband Scott; and daughter Elizabeth J. Murphy; as well as grandchildren, Aiden, Emilia, and Eliana Heeres; his father-in-law, Kieran Devery, and many dear family and friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his sisters Lorraine and Marilyn Murphy; and a brother, Joseph Murphy.
A visitation will be held on Saturday July 14, 2012 from 11:00AM until 12:00PM at St. Agnes Catholic Church on Vanderbilt Beach Road in Naples. The funeral mass will begin at 12:00PM at the church.
