Paul Gallo, age 64, of Jonesboro, IN, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at St. Vincent Heart Center of
Indiana in Indianapolis, IN.
Originally from Port Washington, New York, Paul attended Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana, where he played
football and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Paul met his wife, Carol Ann, when they were both
students at Ball State; Paul never returned to New York. Graduating from Ball State in 1966, he went on to coach
football and wrestling at New Castle High School. In 1970, Paul began coaching and teaching at Madison-Grant
High School. Following his retirement from teaching industrial arts in 1980, he served as a board member for the
Madison-Grant United School Corporation. In 1995, Paul started Paul Gallo Log Export, conducting business
throughout the Midwest, earning a reputation as a highly respected walnut and white oak producer.
Paul enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, being outdoors, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
He was the son of the late Cataldo Gallo and the late Angelina Gallo. He was born on May 25, 1944.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol Ann (Hazelbaker) Gallo.

Arrangements are being handled by Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN . Visitation is
Sunday, March 8, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.Funeral service will be at Armes-Hunt Funeral
Home at 10:30 AM, Monday, March 9, 2009, Rev. Amy Covington officiating. Interment will be at Park Cemetery,
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Fairmount United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
