Paul Garnet Samuel St. Clair

Paul went to be with the Lord at the age of 85 on Sunday August 16th, 2009 at Raleigh General Hospital after a long illness.
He was born March 8th, 1924 at Barkers Ridge in Wyoming County, West Virginia.
He was the son of the late Walter J. St. Clair and Elsie B. St. Clair of Beaver, West Virginia. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by three brothers Elmer St. Clair of Beckley, West Virginia, John W. St. Clair of Wertz, Virginia and Howard St. Clair of Beckley, West Virginia.
Those left to cherish his memory are two sisters Margie Massey of Dayton, Ohio and Leodia Shrewsbury of Beaver, West Virginia and several nieces and nephews.
Paul was a retired Mine Official with the New River Company where he retired in the late 70’s. He also was involved in mining at Carbondale, Colorado and Uranium mining in Grants, New Mexico.
He was a member of Spoken Word Tabernacle of Beaver, West Virginia where he attended for many years.
Viewing will be held at Spoken Word Tabernacle located at 305 Scott Ridge Road, Beaver, West Virginia on Thursday, August 20, 2009 from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held at the church on Friday, August 21, 2009 at 11am with Pastor Roy E. Shrewsbury and ministers of the church officiating.
Pallbearers will be Charles Gravley, Ervil McKemy, Donald Sherman, Jerry Caldwell, Terry St. Clair and Randy Vest.
Due to a family member having allergies to floral arrangements, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, that donation be made to Spoken Word Tabernacle at PO Box 322, Beaver, West Virginia 25813.
