Paul J. Smith Sr. , 62, passed away Monday, November 14, 2011. Born in Youngstown, OH, Paul worked at General Motor's for 40 years, retiring in 2006. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 2209 and Lincolnshire Church of the Brethren. He was an avid outdoorsman who truly loved his family and friends. Surviving are his wife, Darlene, sons, Paul Jr. and Jason (Lindsay) all of Fort Wayne, daughter, Marsha (Steve) Inglis of Austintown, OH, brothers, Mike and Jimmy both of Youngstown, OH, grandchildren, Ashley, Heather, Melissa, Nick (Stephanie), Shannon (Andrew), Paul III, Dana, Debra, Mackenzie and Tyler and great granddaughter, Lilly. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Ann Smith and brother, Stanley. Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue, calling 1 hour prior. Calling also 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
