Paul Leslie Shults

Paul Leslie Shults was born on January 17, 1935 in Plainfield, New Jersey, son of Ida Melinda Taylor Shults and Joseph Alexander Shults. He was raised in North Plainfield, New Jersey, where he attended the North Plainfield Public Schools and lived there until he moved to Rahway, New Jersey in 1992. He was employed by Ebers Furniture, E. J. Korvettes, and later by PSE & G in Franklin Township, from which he retired after 25 years. He departed this life on June 28, 2012 at Alameda Center Nursing Home in Perth Amboy, New Jersey at the age of 77. He was predeceased by his parents, a sister, Betty Jean Saunders and brothers, Wilbur and Arthur Shults. He is survived by his devoted companion, Maria McMorris of Linden, NJ; a son, Jabari Shults of Linden, NJ; one sister, Bernice G. Shults and brothers, Lloyd Shults of Washington, DC and Roger (Karen) Shults of Scotch Plains, NJ; six nieces, three nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
