Age 60, a resident of Edgewood, NM, transitioned from her physical body to Spirit on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, after receiving a beautiful blessing from Sister Mary Catherine at Presbyterian Hospital with immediate family at her side. Born in Anchorage, AK on August 11, 1951, Paula lived a blessed life, capturing each one's heart that she met. Her life was full of humor and love, and she had a generosity that exceeded all standards. Being with her meant knowing Possibility and Magic and she was known by all as a shining light. She loved unconditionally, laughed freely, and with her eyes expressed the openness and unique beauty of her heart. Paula moved courageously and graciously through many physical challenges, and was released by the Grace of God into the arms of the One. May Peace that surpasses all understanding be with you as you remember and celebrate her life. She was truly a gift to the human race. Paula is survived by her soul mate and husband of 40 years, Cary Bush; children, Calli Kilmer, Bree Ross and husband Matt Ross; grandchildren, Kai, Jayce and Sydney Ross, and Carlie Kilmer; mother, Maxine Clum; brother, Douglas Lisenbe; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and innumerable friends. She was preceded in death by her father, James Curtis Lisenbe; grandmother, Martha Hayter; and her favorite and beloved canine companion, Oso. Please celebrate and honor her life with us during her memorial service at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Rd. NE, on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Mexico Donor Services, 1609 University Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. "When the body weeps for that which it has lost, the spirit laughs for what it has gained."
