Paula Stevens
2/24/1951 ~ 06/22/2011

Paula Stevens was many things to many people. Above all, she was beloved by everyone around her. She was only 60 when she found out, fought battle with, and eventually lost the fight with ovarian cancer on June 22, 2011.

She was born on February 24, 1951 in Baker, OR to her mother Pearl Neria. She and her husband, Blake were the parents of Rachelle and Corey. The light of Paula’s life was her two grandchildren, Courtney and Nicholas. She will be so terribly missed.

An average day for Paula consisted of working as a school nurse for Jordan School District, and as an Urgent Care nurse at the UUHC Redwood Clinic. She celebrated an amazing accomplishment in 2008 by attaining her Master’s Degree. When she wasn’t working, she was golfing, reading, visiting with her friends and family, or enjoying her grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held to celebrate her life and say goodbye on June 28, 2011 at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, 3401 S. Highland Dr. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences www.memorialutah.com
