Pauline F. Considine, Of Watertown passed away on October 21, 2009 at the Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She was 83 years old.

Born in Somerville, Massachusetts on April 4, 1926, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph P. & Ellen (Edwards) Considine.

Pauline was the devoted twin sister to the late Patricia H. Considine and sister of the late Marjorie Heffernan and Edith Fanning. She was the loving aunt of James Heffernan MD of Hingham, Christine Carabello of Arlington, Paul Heffernan DPM of Cambridge, Mark Fanning of Belmont, Paula Burns of Bellingham, Mary Ellen Nee of Walpole, Meg Vallone of Westford and Beth Kelly of Holden. She is also survived by 18 great nieces & nephews. She was the longtime companion of Lew Fowler of Norton.

Ms. Considine's funeral will be held from the Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mt. Auburn Street (Route 16), Watertown on Saturday October 24, 2009 at 8:00 A.M. Funeral Mass in The Church of St. Luke, 132 Lexington Street, Belmont at 9:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will take place on Friday from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Interment in Cambridge Cemetery.

Contributions in her memory to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., 2600 Network Blvd., Suite 300 Frisco, Texas 75034 would be appreciated.

Pauline was a retired employee with New England Tel. & Tel. and an employee of Mount Auburn Hospital with 25 years of dedicated service.
