Pauline N. Mayfield (nee Glover), 94, of Vermilion, died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Kingston of Vermilion.
Pauline was born June 16, 1918 in Burton, WV. She had been a Vermilion resident since 1953 moving from Mannington, WV.
She worked at South Shore Packing, Vermiion and Fisher Big Wheel, Vermiion.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, Vermilion and enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading the bible and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter, Roberta Rivera of Vermilion; son, Donald Mayfield, Lake Mary, FL; 2 grandchildren, Julie Council and Kristina Rivera; and a great grandchild, Gwendolyn Murphy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Charlotte (nee McGlumphy) Glover, her husband, Leo Mayfield, a grandson, Daniel Mayfield and 4 sisters, and 3 brothers.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the Church of Christ 5116 Driftwood Dr. Vermilion, Ohio Reverend Mark Weaver will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Church of Christ, 5116 Driftwood Drive, Vermilion, OH 44089.
