Pearl Epps Evans, 96, of Hamden, Connecticut passed away January 25, 2012. Born Oct. 14, 1915 in Hazelhurst, Mississippi. Predeceased by husband Wendell Evans, she retired from Olin Research as a Lab Servicer. She leaves two daughters Georgianna E. Coleman of Hamden, Ct and Gail E. Brooks of Urbana, Ill and one son George T. Epps Jr. of New Haven, Ct. Three Grandchildren Renee Epps, Chris Coleman and George Epps III, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, two loving friends, Geneva Perkins and Lucille Worthy of Hamden, Ct. and Godson Mark Kittrell of Meriden, Ct. Services will be held Monday, January 30, 2012 at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN. Calling hours 10:00 am - 11:00 AM and service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven, CT.
