Pearl Mildred Adams, 96, of Sunbury, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011 at The Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove. She was born July 19,1914, in Sunbury, PA, the daughter of the late Clyde and Katie (Walborn) Bower. She was married to Raymond A. Adams, who preceded her in death in January 1995.
Pearl was preceded in death by four sisters, Ethel Spotts, Gussie Bahner, Mollie Reedy, and Martha Markowskie, and by one brother, Miles Bower, also four infant siblings. Except for nieces and nephews, she was the last suriving member of her family. Pearl was employed at the Bob Shirt Factory, Phillips Motel in Shamokin Dam, and retired from Creative Playthings in Herndon. She was a member of the Zion Stone Valley Church, Dalmatia. Pear loved to travel, garden and shop.
Friends are invited to call Tuesday, April 19 from 10-11AM at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. Religious service will be at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow at 11AM on Tuesday April 19, with Rev. Glen Keidle officiating. Internment will be at the County Line Cemetery, Dalmatia, PA
