Peggy Sue Ponsell

Peggy Sue Ponsell, 53, the daughter of Mildred Bullion Hodgkinson and the late George Courey, a longtime resident of Florida, passed away Friday, October 14, 2011, following a sudden illness.
She was born in Beckley, West Virginia on September 13th, 1958. Peggy moved to Florida at a young age and started her longtime career of 30+ years in the Apartment Industry and became a very well known property manager in the Jacksonville area.
She was a huge fan of music, the beach, but mostly family.
Other than her beloved mother she is survived by her 2 children; daughter Lindsey Ponsell and son Gary Ponsell, Jr.; 2 grandchildren; Deric Ponsell and Erin Fagoaga 3 sisters; Linda Hall, Donna Hundley, Melony Stewart, and many nieces and nephews also survive, Peggy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 21, 2011 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Pastor Lonnie Greer officiating.
Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley WV.
Friends may gather with the family from 12 -2 PM at the funeral home.
