Canandaigua-Peggy (Sears) Trauger, age 95, of Quail Summit, passed away peacefully at F.F. Thompson Hospital, on Thursday, October 31, 2013, with her family by her side. She is survived by her son, Dr. John "Terry" (Sue) Trauger of California; three daughters, Barbara (William) Querry of Ohio, Patricia (John) Allen of Bloomfield and Robin (Michael) Allen of Shortsville; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John F. Trauger; and great-granddaughter, Monica Grace Allen. Mrs. Trauger was a fashion designer with Lanz of Salsburg in New York City. She owned and operated a mail-order doll pattern business for over 40 years, specializing in international costume design. Mrs. Trauger was a devoted member of the Baha'i faith. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and sailing. Friends may call Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Her Funeral service will immediately follow the calling hours at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua. Condolences may be offered at www.johnsonkennedy.com.
