Fleagle, Perry Thomas, 90, former Kansas resident, died September 25, 2011, at his home in Lubbock, Texas, after succumbing to an acute illness. His wife, Dorothy, was by his side. Perry was born November 6, 1920, near Friend, Kansas, to Walter and Ethel Fleagle. Perry graduated from the University of Kansas in 1942 with a degree in Business Administration. He married Marcia Molby that same year and then began service in the Army Air Corps as a First Lieutenant during World War II as a technical supply officer. When Perry returned to Wichita in 1946, he went on to become owner of BRC Bearing Company in Wichita, Kansas. He and Marcia were active members of Metropolitan Baptist Church, and Perry served as a Deacon. Marcia died in 1991. They were married 49 years. Mutual friends in Lubbock, Texas, introduced Perry to Dorothy Walker, and they were married in 1993. They spent many years in Wichitta and attended Central Christian Church. They retired to Lubbock in 2010. Perry was preceded in death by his first wife, Marcia; sisters, Eleanor, Margaret, and Gladys; and by his brothers, Dave and Ralph. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Nancy Fleagle; daughter, Janice Kauder and husband, Steven; and son, Jim Fleagle and wife, Nancy. There are five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled on October 1, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 East 13th Street, Wichita, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
