Pete Krajnyak, 87, of Eastlake, passed away peacefully June 26, 2012, at home surrounded by his family. Born April 1, 1925, in Martins Ferry, he had lived in Eastlake for the past 57 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Krajnyak retired in 1987 from Ellsworth Cabinet in Willoughby. Survivors are his daughters, Becky (Lou) Ferranti, Sandy Pfeiffer and Roxane (Ed) Krajnyak; grandchildren, Nori (Neal) Wolf, Jennifer (Jim) Stanicki and Kristofer (April) Pfeiffer; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Shirley) Krajnyak; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death loving wife, Rosemary Krajnyak; son, Thomas Krajnyak; and siblings, Joseph, John, Frank, Andy, Steve, Elizabeth Petras and Ann Donahue. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday at St. Justin Martyr Church, 35781 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetry in Chardon Township.
