Peter J. Moore, 87, of Royersford, formerly of Conshohocken, died on March 9, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Maryann (Quinn) Moore. He was born in Conshohocken on August 4, 1923 to the late Charles and Jennie (Caniano) Moore. He attended Conshohocken High School and later entered the US Army Air Corps where he served his country during WWII. Peter was employed as a Clothing Presser for Gordon's of Philadelphia for 15 years until his retirement. He was a hard worker who held various jobs in many fields throughout his life. He was a member of SS. Cosmas and Damian Church in Conshohocken, the Andrew Lannutti Veteran Post #18, and the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union. Peter enjoyed bowling and was on the SS. Cosmas and Damian Bowling League, enjoyed billiards, gardening and was talented at drawing pictures. In addition to his wife Maryann, he is survived by 2 daughters Bernadette Maue (Rolf) of Royersford, Deborah Novi (Silvio) of Hatfield, 4 grandchildren Tara Terranova, Nicole Novi, Andrea Reagor, Michael Maue, 3 great-grandchildren Mikayla Terranova, Maguire and Mitchell Maue, and 1 great-granddaughter to be expected Jenna Rose Terranova, his brother Daniel Moore of Norristown, and many nieces and nephews.
