KOROTKY – Peter Michael, 66, of Hackensack passed away on June 14, 2012. Born in Passaic, Mr. Korotky resided there for most of his life before moving to Wallington in 1991, living there until 2004 when he moved to Hackensack. Before his retirement, he had been employed as an Art Teacher for thirty-two years with the Passaic Board of Education. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a parishioner of St. Michael Cathedral in Passaic and a member of the New Jersey Education Association. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Mary Korotky. Mr. Korotky is survived by two sisters: Janice O'Brien and her husband, William, of Clifton and Olive-Ann Giordano of Passaic; nephews and nieces: Michael O'Brien and his wife Teresa, of Vernon, Timothy O'Brien of Clifton, Josephine D'Aloisio and her husband, Nicholas, of Cedar Grove, Carla Serrao of Verona, Dr. Charles Giordano and his wife, Tracey, of Verona and Vincent Giordano and his wife, Chrissy, of Little Ferry; five great-nephews and three great-nieces. Funeral services will be Tuesday 9:15 am from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton and 10:00 am at St. Michael Cathedral, 96 First Street, Passaic. Interment to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery. South Hackensack. Visiting Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Parastas 2:30 pm.
