Peter Olasiman passed peacefully September 1, 2011 in Walnut Creek, California. He is survived by his loving wife Leslie and five adored children, Peter Paul, Kari, Julie, Felicia and Adrianna Balestrieri. He cherished seven loving grandchildren Raul Marrero, Jimmy Yrlas-Martinez, Robert Yrlas-Martinez, Gianni Apodaca, Michael Deleon, Xavier Deleon and Deja Deleon. Peter leaves behind six siblings, Lucia Olasiman, Nieves Patio, Juanita Glover, Santiago Olasiman and Reynald Olasiman; along with many nieces and nephews.

A native of Angeles City, Philippines, Peter was born to his loving parents Ananias and Feliciana. He enjoyed sports; always there for the San Francisco Giants and the San Francisco 49ers. His love for sports helped him achieve the position of Umpire and Referee. He spent many hours riding his motorcycle and enjoyed working with his hands. He was nicknamed "The Joker". He will be remembered as a very caring and loving person and always the "life of the family".
