Petra Brown Moreno "Baby Doll", 62 of Clarkdale, passed away on December 8, 2011. She was born on April 9, 1949 in Jerome, Arizona to Antonio Lomeli Moreno and Vera Brown Starr. Petra graduated from Immaculate Conception Church from Kindergarten to Eighth Grade and then graduated from Ajo High School as an Ajo Red Raider. Petra worked for the Yavapai Apache Nation as Section Supervisor for the finance department. She also worked in housekeeping at the hospital for 5 years and always helped with charities. Petra loved music, was a real fan of the Broncos, loved movies and all sports and was a great cook. She also loved family gatherings and dancing. She will be greatly missed! Petra is preceded in death by her parents Antonio L. Moreno and Vera B. Starr and brother Tony Boy B. Moreno. She is survived by aunts Minnie M. (Adolfo Anguiano), Dolores (Lago) M. Zunitch and Esperanza (Espie) M. Anguiano all of Cottonwood; uncles Refugio (Cuco) Moreno of Cottonwood and Rosendo (Bunky) Moreno of Tucson; sister-in-law Lydia O. Moreno of Clarkdale; several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A rosary will be held on Friday, December 16 at 6:00pm at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, December 17 at 10:00am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cottonwood. An online guestbook is available to sign at www.westcottfuneralhome.com
