SALIB, Philip I., M.D., of Chestnut Hill, passed away on July 2, 2009 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband for 55 years of Maria A. Salib, and inspirational father to his two children, Jean-Philippe and Carlos Salib, and a loving grandfather to Phillippe-Raphael, and a dear brother to Edward and Jack, and his other predeceased siblings, Michael, George, and Isabelle. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, at St. Mary's Church, 5 Linden Place in Brookline, MA, at 10:00am, followed by internment in Newton Cemetery, 791 Walnut Street, Newton, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dr. Philip I. Salib's name to the Department of Cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA 02114.
