GOFFSTOWN - Phyllis Duclos, 91, died Oct. 14, 2012, at Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a period of declining health. Born in Milton, Mass., she was a resident of Goffstown since 1946. She was the daughter of Francis E. and Ruth (Frederick) Corkum. Mrs. Duclos graduated from Beth Israel Deaconess School of Nursing. She was employed as a registered nurse with Moore General Hospital for several years; she also worked as a nurse for Goffstown School District, Head Start, Salvation Army and as a private duty nurse. She was a veteran of World War II having served as a 1st lieutenant with the U.S. Army Nurse Corps. Mrs. Duclos was a member and past president of Goffstown Mothers Club. She was also a member of Goffstown Congregational Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She was an avid Red Sox fan and loved spending time with her family.The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Hillsborough County Nursing home for the excellent care their mother received. She was predeceased by her husband, Curtis N. Duclos, and a grandson Michael Stevens. Members of her family include two children, Curtis Duclos and Diane D. Stevens both of Goffstown; four grandchildren, David Turner, Kimberly Turner Giroux, Adam Duclos and Benjamin Duclos; and one great grandson. Ryan Giroux. SERVICES: Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at French and Rising Funeral Home, 17 S. Mast St., Goffstown. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Congregational Church of Goffstown. Burial with military honors will follow at Westlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Goffstown Emergency Medical Services Association or Congregational Church of Goffstown
