HALIFAX - Phyllis J. Rupp, 84, of 15475 Sportsman Club Road in Calvin, PA passed away Friday, March 18 at Valley View Nursing Home, Bellville. She was born on June 23, 1926 in Aurora, IN, the daughter of the late Richard Lee and Lucille (Downey) James. She was a retired legal secretary. She was a member of Cedar Crest Independent Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Harry J. Rupp of Calvin, PA, son Harry L. Rupp of Calvin, PA, daughters Janet E. Noblit of Newburgh, PA, Carolyn J. Kissinger of Halifax, PA, brother Richard James of FL, sister Nancy Bright of OH, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 24 at 11:00 AM in Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg, with burial to follow at Longs Cemetery in Halifax. There will be a viewing at the funeral home from 10-11 AM Thursday.
