Phyllis Jessie Adams, daughter of the late Phillip Adams and Clementine Lovett Adams was born December 7, 1965 in Plainfield, New Jersey. She went home to be with the Lord on November 21, 2011 at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey at the age of 45. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Aurielius and Jessie Lovett, Sr. and William J. and Ella Mae Adams. Phyllis received her early education in Plainfield, New Jersey and graduated from Plainfield High School in 1983. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing from Cheyney University in Cheyney, Pennsylvania and resided in South Plainfield, New Jersey for several years with her son, Antunee. In 1998, Phyllis became employed at Hewlett Packard Financial Services in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey where she was a Customer Delivery Specialist. She was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Sayreville, New Jersey and of the Foster Adoptive Parent Association with which she volunteered. She leaves to cherish fond memories, her son, Antunee Justin Adams; one sister, Emily Yvette Adams of Elizabeth, NJ; two brothers, Phillip Adams, Jr. (Stephanie Mullins-Adams) of Irvington, NJ and Christopher Armstrong Adams of Piscataway, NJ; niece and nephew, Asia Smith and James Hicks; a goddaughter, Ta-Yirah Thomas and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
