Polly A. Cowell, 44, of Numidia, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at home with her loving family at her side. Born on August 4, 1966 in East Stroudsburg, PA, she was the daughter of Robert and Jean Quick Crane of Belvidere, NJ. Polly had worked at Tom's Family Restaurant, Catawissa, PA. She had loved her family, pets and her cow collection. Polly also enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens in which she loved to spend time. Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband of 23 years, Howard James "Jim" Cowell; two sons, Joshua and H. James; a daughter, Cassie all at home; a sister, Lisa Crane; a brother, Robert Crane Jr., both of Belvidere, NJ; several nephews and nieces. Polly was predeceased by her son Michael who died November 6, 2005. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in her memory to Columbia Montour Home Hospice, 410 Glenn Ave., Suite 200, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
