Pui Ying Wong

Pui Ying Wong was born January 13, 1918 and died peacefully at Sutter Roseville Medical Center on August 17, 2011. She enjoyed sewing and made most of her own clothing. Her favorite television shows were Lawrence Welk and Jeopardy. She is survived by 6 sons and a daughter: Jim Wong (Las Vegas), Jerry Wong (San Diego), Gary Wong (Mason City, IA), Larry Wong (Beaverton, OR), Janice Leblanc (Roseville, CA), Harry Wong (Mohrsville, PA), and Henry Wong (San Jose). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 2 great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ying, and son, Perry. She and Ying ran a restaurant for 30 years in Many, IA prior to their retirement in San Francisco. They moved to Roseville in 2000. Funeral services and burial were held Sunday August 21st at Cypress Lawn Cemetery in Colma, CA.
