She looked forward to their "getaways" and had a shirt or hat from every place they went together. Queenie was a good friend. Rob and Charlie loved their times with Queenie. The room lit up when she entered! But most of all, Queenie was my loving best friend! She and I loved water rides, shopping, gossiping, laughing, sharing secrets, strawberry short cake, babies, jazz festivals, craft shows, late dinners at the diner, flavored coffees . . . Queenie was more than my friend. She was my sister. Her death has left a huge hole in my heart. There will never be another Queenie! My love and prayers go to Larry and the entire Jackson-Pearson family.
