Quincella Jackson was born on March 20, 1949 to Velma Jackson and Ellison Jackson who both preceded her in death. She was the oldest of ten children. Two sisters, Sheila Carter and Brenda Martin, two brothers William Rodgers and Ellison Jackson and a daughter Denise A. Jackson all preceded her in death. "Quin" confessed hope in Christ at an early age and united with union Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. "Quin" was educated in the Doddsville, Mississippi Public School System before moving to Saint Louis, Missouri. "Quin" was employed at Bright—Free Cleaners as a laundry presser for several years. Most precious memories will remain in the heart of her loved ones that will forever be cherished: her sister, Dorothy (Willie) Armstrong; her brothers, Robert (Diane) Jackson, Anthony Rodgers, Keith Rodgers and Dwayne Rodgers, her daughter Terri A. (Kevin) Jackson; and her sons, Henry (Pamela) Jackson, Anthony L. Jackson, Angelo Jackson, Eddie Devoil and Mark C. Jackson; nineteen grandchildren, Henry Jr., Andrew, Kimberly, Katrell, Arianna, Haven, Breanna, Angelo Jr., Alexis, Jeremiah, Karon Jr., Janita, Kameisha, Azarhia, Deonna, Kevin, Jr. Sharde, Mark Jr. and Makayla seven great grandchildren, eight nieces, eight nephews, one aunt, Maudie Waters of Granite City, IL; and one uncle Raymond Jackson of Oakland, CA and a host of very loved cousins and friends.
