Rae Acquarulo Capuano of 45 Mill Street, East Haven, formerly of New Haven, passed away April 29, 2010 at home with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Frank A. Capuano, Sr. Rae was born in New Haven May 11, 1926 to the late Dominic and Mary Nastri Acquarulo. She was employed by Berger Brothers and for the New Haven Board of Education Food Services Department at the Sound School until her retirement. She was a member of the St. Rose Rosary Society and the St. Andrew Ladies Society for many years. The family gives special thanks to Rae's devoted caregivers Sally and Maria. She is survived by five chldren, Annetta M. (Charles) Altieri of Northford, Joanne L. (Thomas) D'Angelo of East Haven, John F. of Pasadena, MD, Frank A. Jr. (Linda) and Richard A. Capuano, Sr. both of East Haven. She is also survived by her loving brother Lawrence (Anne) Acquarulo, 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. SHe was prdeceased by a sister Mary (Dominic) Capuano. Funeral from the IOVANNE FUNERAL HOME, INC. 11 Wooster Pl. Monday morning at 9. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 9:30. Burial in All Saints Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 3-7pm.
