Rae I. Januzelli, 97, of Conshohocken, died on September 15, 2010 at Towne Manor West Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Carmen P. Januzelli. She was born in Conshohocken on March 10, 1913 to the late Eber Hastings Lobb and Bessie (Pope) Lobb. She was a graduate of Conshohocken High School and was formerly employed as a Secretary for Independent Lock Co. of Philadelphia and Hale Pump Co. of Conshohocken until her retirement. Mrs. Januzelli was a 3rd generation member of Washington Fire Co. of Conshohocken where she served as the company secretary for many years. She was Past President, Vice President, Sergeant of Arms, and Trustee Emeritus of the Ladies Auxiliary of Washington Fire Co. She was also active with the PA State Firemans Association. She also helped organize the first Girl Scout Troop in Conshohocken. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, traveling in her later years, was an accomplished bowler, and was active with the Montgomery County Association for the Blind. She was also a member of SS. Cosmas and Damian Church in Conshohocken and St. Ritas Sodality. She is survived by her son Joseph E. Januzelli (Beth) of Conshohocken, 2 grandsons James and John McHarg, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Carol McHarg, and her 3 sisters Virginia Williams, Rebecca Rigg, Bessie V. Rissell. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to Montgomery County Association for the Blind, 212 N Main St., North Wales, PA 19454-3129 are appreciated.
