Ralph A. Perez went to be with the Lord on the evening of Thursday, May 19, 2011. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and friend to all. He was married to Susan and loved her with everything he had till his last hour. Ralph had two passions in his life, the San Antonio Fire Department and The United States Marine Corp. Many of his life long friendships and those who he considered his brothers stood by him in these two life long endeavors and passions. Ralph enjoyed his free time as well and had many hobbies. He spent every fall hunting at his ranch at Canyon Lake with his best friend and "running partner," Gilbert Aguirre. He also enjoyed spending the afternoons with his wife in the antique shops of Gruene looking for rare finds. Ralph loved the city of Las Vegas and the roulette table, lazy afternoons by the pool or catching a show. While he was not out on a new adventure he was simply out in his yard with Susan, doing yard work and enjoying the outdoors. Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Susan A. Perez and devoted sister & brother-in-law, James & Ruby Eberhardt. He will be greatly missed by his step children, Serena & Sean Perales and nieces, Tabitha & Tiffany Eberhardt and Melanie Sanchez & son, Vincent Jr. He also leaves behind the loving family of Mrs. Mary Lou Caban. Ralph was a true and honest man and will be missed by many. To those who knew him and cherished his friendship, we can say, "Cheers Ralph!" Thanks for all the great memories and laughs. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Mission Park North with the service to be celebrated June 3rd 2011 at 10:00am at Community Bible Church with burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. A prayer service and viewing will also be held the preceding evening at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North viewing at 5:00pm and service will be at 7:00pm.
