Ralph Craig Crippen

Connie and all the Crippens,

I am sorry for your loss. Ralph was a much more than an employee. He helped my family through some very rough times. He always had a gift to see the light even in the darkest situations. He was a good fishing buddy and a great friend. I still can't believe he is gone. Best wishes to all the family.

Olivebelle & I remember when the Crippen family moved into Andover.
We recall both our families bringing up our kids, playing baseball,watching
them play football. And we remeber, after the game, coming home to some
hot delicious soup to warm our cold bodies. and after the Vikings steak fry,
the card games we 4 old timers played; great memories of friendship.
I want to extend to the whole Crippen family my earnest sympathy for the loss
of Ralph, and especially to dave and Marge. I know the quiet silence, the missing talk, when you lose a beloved. May God's love overpower your sadness

I was so sad to hear of Ralph's death. You have my deepest sympathy. I will always remember Ralph's smile and wonderful sense of humor. He was such a good friend to my husband, Mark. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

My condolances to Connie and the Crippen family. Ralph always had a smile on his face and will be remembered for his kindness. Ralph never met a stranger.

Ralph took my boys fishing, Ralph's gentle laugh helped us through a rough spot or two and Ralph's eyes sparkled with fun and excitement around you and Anne.

For Monica...your Dad was so very proud of you. I always got updates on your latest challenges and accomplishments. It seemed as though every challenge was positive and every accomplishment assured. Ralph was never one to brag, but he shared that he cared about you deeply.

For the family...Ralph's Mom and Dad were the most "alive" and engaging pair...to have them in your home was a Blessing indeed. Ralph admired their love for one another, their zest of life and their indefatigable nature.

I remember meeting Kent and heard so much about Dan. And did I ever hear about fishing trips and family gatherings. Ralph was so good at telling stories. The only time he ever raised his voice is as his story-telling reached a heart laugh.

I'm sad at his passing, but delighted that he was a part of my families life. He brought colors to the fabric, texture to the surface and soul to the heart.

Rest well, my dear friend, as all the Angels and Saints of heaven rise to greet you and welcome you home.

And may the Blessings that Ralph's life delivered continue to be rained down on Connie, Anne & Bill's family and the wonderful Crippens. On that next trip, tell a tale or two that Ralph liked best and revel in the memory of one so dear.
