Ralph D. Iannuzzi, Sr., 78, of Middle Road in Guilford died November 30, 2009 at Connecticut Hospice. He was the husband of the late Mary Ann Bucci Iannuzzi. Born in New Haven September 4, 1931 to the late Domenico and Concetta Corolla Iannuzzi, Ralph spent his professional career in car sales. He worked for 20 years at Globe Ford, then Voloshin Cadillac, Somers Pontiac and later as the used car manager at Montesi Motors for 25 years. At one time he was known as the "Richard Burton of Whalley Avenue." Ralph was a member of the Indian Neck Yacht Club for more than 50 years. He was the father of Debra Ann and Ralph D. (Nancy) Iannuzzi, Jr. Brother of the late Donald Iannuzzi. Beloved poppy to Michael D., Nicholas and Christopher Iannuzzi, Jordan, Mikaela and Marianna Iannuzzi Bean and the late Tristan John. He is also survived by his long time companion and best friend Norma Giannattasio. Funeral from the IOVANNE FUNERAL HOME, INC. 11 Wooster Pl. Thursday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael's Church at 10. Burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice 100 Doouble Beach Rd. Branford, CT 06405 or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation 2969 Whitney Ave, Suite R-1, Hamden, CT 06518-2556.
