Mr. Ralph H. Ferree, 85, of Gratz, PA. passed away Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010 while in the company of family members at his residence. Ralph was born in Wiconisco, PA. on January 31, 1925, the son of the late John and Eva (Kobel) Ferree. He was the husband of Helen (Ayers) Ferree. He was a member of Salem Evangelical Reformed Church Pillow, PA . He worked as a Coal Miner and at TRW. Ralph was and avid fisherman and hunter, the best dad and grand dad in the world.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Helen Ferree; eight daughters, Fern Ferree of Danville, PA; Evelyn Burkey of Rochester, MN; Donna Watkins of Elizabethville, PA; Faye Reed of Muir, PA; Connie Donovan of Gratz, PA; Sandra Shiffer of Elizabethville, PA; Linda Ferree of Lykens, PA; Deb Gessner of Elizabethville, PA;
a son, Ralph Ferree, Jr of Anchorage, AK

Ralph is also survived by three sisters, Grace Kimmel of Millersburg, PA; , Gertrude Coleman of Millersburg, PA; , Shirley Reed of Pillow, PA; two brothers, Daniel Ferree of Gratz, PA; , Raymond Ferree of Herndon, PA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Ferree, and by two sisters; Josephine Hoffman, and Francis Sitlinger.

Visitation will be on Monday 10-11AM. at Hoffman's St. Peters U.C.C. Lykens Twp. Religious Service at Hoffman's St. Peters U.C.C. , Lykens Twp, PA, with Rev. Jeffery Wagner officiating. Interment at Riverview Memorial Gardens Halifax, PA.
